Segmented bowls are just that. Segments are cut from a variety of woods, glued into the shape of a bowl, and turned on a lathe. No two bowls are alike because of the size of the segments, types of wood, and the fact that each one is turned free-hand. The only limitation to the shape of the bowl is the turners imagination. After the bowl is turned, it is sanded sealed and finished. The bowls are labor intensive but well worth the finished product.
